I feel as though my paper rambles on about the interviewee and not so much about the actual culture itself. Does anyone else have a paper that is written like that. I did facts here and there in the paper but still... ugh I hope i can maintain my A after this assignment.

I'm hoping to keep my A as well. My client is a second generation, but his family has not carried on traditions. I too threw in a few facts here and there, but we'll see...

Modgoth1- thanks for the well wishes. I looked at my DARS last night. I don't think I'm ever going to get finished with this program.

I'm taking Stats and Family Nursing this summer. In the fall I'm going to try to test out of Freshman Comp, then it looks like 4540,4550,4560, and next spring finish up with 4520, 4580 and 4600. But I've got to take Nutrition, Chemistry, Cross cultural, Soc., Jr Comp and maybe a Psych class.

But tonite I'm taking the Quiz and then at least I will have 2 down.

I envy you who are almost done.

Geeze, I just took the Mod 5 quiz. I did awful. I felt some of those questions were worded very tricky. I really feel bad b/c I studied for like 2 hours before. well, there goes my grade. At least I know I passed and am DONE.

I'm feeling your pain BIG TIME!! I need a total of 18 classes....only just finished #6. I don't want to take 2 at a time. I have everything planned out for the rest of the year....next year is up in the air right now.

Bombed that quiz. Some of those questions were hard. I missed four questions, giving me a 73% on it. Although 2 of the questions I got wrong, I debated between 2 answers and went with the wrong one. With any luck I get 100 on my DB and my paper, to bring my grade back up to a full A. Or maybe we'll get lucky and they will curve this one too.. one can only hope.

Either way, I am done-zo!!! :yelclap: 2 8 week classes this summer, then I have a 5 week break to have the baby and I will be right back at it. Now lets just hope he doesn't decide to come early, as my C-section is scheduled for August 10th, and classes end August 11th, lol.

Have a good break to those who are taking the summer off!

I just finished 414 tonight, and just now found this board (great timing huh?!?!). Anyway, I had a few questions I was hoping someone could answer.

1. Does anyone here know of, or have a copy of, which classes will be combined in the program-- I was told to hold off taking some classes as they will be combined, and if I take the wrong one next I may have to basically repeat it later on.

2. Is it okay to sell the book for 414, I was told to hold on to my book for 451 so I wasn't sure if I will still need it or not.

3. Has anyone had a positive experience with their academic advisor, mine has never responded to my messages, and when I finally got a chance to speak to her I felt like she did not listen, and was a bit rude and condescending.

Anyway, thanks in advance for any responses. Hope everyone did well in the class!

If you got a admission packet via email, the list of classes they are combining in the fall should be in there. i just happen to have mine handy, and this is what they have down to combine: NRSE 300 and 335 to 4510; NRSE 310 and 325 will be 4520; NRSE 416 and 445 will be 4580. I didn't think they were offering a 451 after Spring quarter (unless you mean 4510). I have had a good experience with my adviser but I have heard others that have gone through what you are experiencing with yours.

Taking the Summer off to be with my kids, then in the fall I am taking stats and anthropolgy at a community college (I had read that the fashion and culture class was not fun, and I need some extra time to get through stats). What this means is that I won't be back at OU until spring 2013, farewell all. Good Luck to you all.

Same here, i am so mad at myself especially since i changed 3 of the answers to the incorrect one.Anyway happy another class is done, see you in Art and Comp.
