What they teach you in nursing school vs. what you do in the real world are very different. I remember going into SO MUCH DETAIL during my health assessment class, but in the real world that is not the case. And it takes time to develop assessment skills - your first attempts at doing a head-to-toe assessment will probably be shaky, and that is okay. The more you do it, the better you will get at it.
