One of my other nursing instructors taught us:

Same thing just least to greatest
A way to remember that a PTT is for Heparin is that the two T's together in a way looks like an "H"
Oddly enough I have used that on an exam in school...

Thanks guys this thread has been great for me. Here is my contribution:
Major parts of the Aortic Branch
Mnemonic: “Know your ABC’S“:
Aortic arch gives rise to:
Brachiocephalic trunk
left Common Carotid
left Subclavian
_ Beware though trick question of ‘What is first branch of aorta?’ Technically, it’s the coronary arteries.
Atrioventricular Valves
Mnemonic: “LAB RAT“:
Left Atrium: Bicuspid
Right Atrium: Tricuspid

An oldie but a goodie for anticholinergic toxic psychosis:
dry as a desert, blind as a bat (dilated pupils), red as a beet, mad as a hatter
And this one for Wenkebach or Mobitz I: you wink with one eye
not really a nmemonic but helpful:
OS oculus sinistra the left or evil eye
OD oculus dextra the right eye
OU oculus uterque both eyes
