We just started our new unit on cardio and have a test next Wednesday. This cardio is broken up by structures and functions, CAD/Acute Coronary Syndrome, Angina, MI, Sudden cardiac death, and then rhythms. The rest of cardio is on another test.

Anyway, is there any easy way to learn all this? I usually learn pretty well, but cardio seems a bit more difficult!

I would try YouTube... You would be so amazed with the video available. Be specific and you will find what you want! Good luck!!!

if you don't have the anatomy coloring book and the physiology coloring book yet, you should. they're really good for visual and tactile learners, and they're just plain good references.

I agree with the other posters, youtube is a great source, there are some wonderful professors on there and it always helps to hear it from someone else and using the anatomy coloring sheets are great too. I would definately pull out your A&P book & do a quick review on the heart and the coronary arteries. Also don't forget your best resource, your med surg book. My biggest advice is not to memorize something for a test but to understand it and learn it, if you understand something it helps you so much with critical thinking needed for the tests. Good luck!!

I second those coloring books that GrnTea suggested. They are great for visual learners.
