Passed Microbiology!!!!!

Nursing Students Online Learning

I cannot believe I actually passed. I had put it off because I was so burned out with the Nursing test. But I picked the book up about 4 weeks ago and the outcome was positive. This test was definitely out of my comfort zone and a lot of it was guess work because I could not put my arms around some of the concepts. Well now on to studying full speed ahead for the CPNE. Nothing can hold me back now!!!:hehe: :yelclap:

:yeah:Congats to you NCgirl35! I am considering starting my degree shortly. I had jumped right in before and kinda messed up with Rue. I have looked into things further now and I am very confused and uncertain of what to do. I know I will need Micro thought. Did you use the Texbook at all? I sent for info from EC and also ISU. I am in NC, I know NCBON excepts EC but I don't know about ISU. Did you take general corses first or Nursing and You have to apply before you can do anything right?:banghead:

Blinky, I used College Network and Lisa Arends notes for the Micro test. I think the NCBON accepts ISU because there are sites in NC that people can do their clinicals. EC requires you to complete all prerequites except maybe 10 credits before you can apply for the CPNE. ISU has phases but I am sure you have to complete Micro before you move on to the nursing phase. You have to complete a significant amount more with ISU because I looked into the program and I did not want to go through the hassel of hoping a hospital or clinic would accept me to do their program, that is why I chose EC because I already have a BS degree in another field.

If you want to persue EC I recommend that you pay the $75 dollars and let them evaluate your transcripts. They will tell you all the classes that you need to take. Good Luck in whatever you decide but if you signed with RUE and can't get out of their contract, you might as well finish getting their product and buying some of the recommended text on line. If you are still confused, PM me with you phone number and I will call and try to help you.

congrats!:wink2::wink2::wink2:
