Is there any updated information? I have been in heavy contact with them and am looking at taking their RN-BSN program. I work with a GCU grad and she has nothing but positive things to say, but I want more opinions. ?

Any pro's and cons? Thankfully the only class I'm missing is stats and that is offered in the actual BSN program. I'm a bit nervous as my algebra skills are way old. If anyone took this class, do you have any advice?

So I bit the bullet and did it....week 3 Spirit and started week 1 of Ethics today. I've already posted so it's a done deal no matter what happens!

I'm currently waiting to see if I can go over word count in Ethics, I'm so in trouble if I cannot...maybe I should just go over and see what happens one of these times. Every time I ask it's a big fat zero! Can they not see they could trust me, I just need 100-200 extra. Although my first paper for Ethics is supposed to be 1000 and it's sitting at 1600 without a intro and conclusion. But I could easily get it to 1200-1300. Oh please let me have extra words this class, please, please, please. (I'm a mess, hahahaha).

i know the feeling! But 1600 words with no intro or conclusion? I have never been there lol it's crazy in the beginning of this program it was hard for me to just make the word count now i am going over every time and dislike my paper when i have to trim back.

it is a paper heavy class. People cran struggle in this class, sooo don't take it likely. Even though i had a challenging professor i learned much.

research has been a paper heavy class so i was hoping for a little break in between. I guess not. Should i purchase a bible, and are the papers at least interesting?

They have either cut down or you have the worst luck! Have you told them you only need a couple hundred more?

I throw everything but the kitchen sink into a paper when I first start. 1600 usually equals great quality at 1200 (with into and conclusion), but these 1000 word counts are killing me. That is the good thing about Spirit, 1250-1500 word counts are like a walk in the park (singing a song!)....

No, use online bible. Imo it's easier.

I liked the class. It covers compassion fatigue, burn out, healing hospitals, the book of Job and comparisons to Kubler-Ross.

Use the internet Bible if you are not familiar with the Bible, that will help a lot. (Although owning a Bible is always a plus ;)). I have found so far that the word counts are easy, the papers are coming together too. Although I am struggling with the compassion fatigue one (i set it aside a few days ago, getting ready to pick it up here in a few minutes when I get done here, ha!).

Hours, and still no word. It really is my luck. Just like Prism getting all the horrible (not bad, horrible) ClC groups. Still hoping, although at this point....

Doubling up...I'm over here dinking around, I got to stop that!!! Ha, NOT!
