OMG!!! August, Congrats!!! What workshop is Chancellors? Oh, this is very exciting and your emotions just crack me up. I know exactly what you mean! I am trying to get everything together for my application...very excited and thinking at the same time, "Wait a minute....What, WHAT did I get myself into?!! " :lol2:

Thank you Beachnurse @Dslpninla especially thank you for your encouragement @ Loops, I was talked into doing Chancellors years ago, its like TCN and RUE, just a different company. I paid for my workshop awhile ago. It's in Indiana. The good part is its 5 full days. no more than 6 people at a time, so I will get alot of practice. It's not as well known as the others. They sem to have a very good passing rate. I hope so!! You are so right about" what did I get myself into?" lol!! WE are all getting to the end!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Specializes in EMS, ED, Trauma, CEN, CPEN, TCRN.

I liked Chancellor's study guides because of the audio! :) I bought all of them used on eBay, then sold them again after I tested. I thought they were usually more on-target than TCN, too. Just my opinion. In any case, I've always heard good things about their workshops.

That makes me feel better you heard good things about Chancellors workshop. Everyone is going to the well known workshops. I paid for it before I really knew alot about EC, I like the fact it has a small class. I got to admit, a bit scared of it because I don't hear too much about it. So again thank you. ..The audio helps, I didn't use them with LS1 and 2, felt the material was harder versus LS3 which I found easier. I used the audio with it.

I think the most important thing about workshops is getting in there with other students and working together. You'll be great!

Thank you Lunah!:)

Specializes in Med/Surg Nurse, Homecare, Visiting Nurse.

I love Chancellors guides. If the workshop wasn't so darn expensive I would have done that too. Second Lunah on working with other students in the workshops. I sharpened my skills at the workshop I attended, I left there knowing I knew my stuff. Good luck guys.
