8 week online microbiology class for late fall

Hi. guys. im interested on enrolling in this 8 week online micriobiology course because i want to apply to nursing school as soon as possible. can you guys tell me if this course will be allowed to be transfered to schools in california?. like CSU Stanislaus or maybe a community college that have a nursing program. Will this course be able to tranfer?. Thank you.

Only one to tell you that is the school in CA. I don't foresee problems though. I attend UAF in Alaska and I just called and gave her the info to the ones I attend online from clovis and eicc and she sent me an email confirming what classes they will transfer into as. It's a regional school and has the appropriate credit amount but from my understand CA is harded to accept online labs. As long as the school catalogue doesn't mention online and says with lab there shouldn't be any issues

The excelsior exam may just be your best bet IMO, there are many community colleges and Universities that should offer an accelerated 7-8 week class. Just be sure to make sure if you go that route, its from a regionally accredited institution.

Hi all
Desperately trying to find an online 8 week microbiology class (preferably no prerequisite needed) for late fall towards November or December of this year (have a heavy course load at the moment), any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I had J.W at edukan. It was 8 weeks and had an online lab. Many students where I got my BSN also went to Clovis college online for Microbiology, but it wasn't an 8 week class.

Hi stash11. I am good! Finished my BSN in May, and now onto my MSN in 5 days. Had a 5 month break. Now back into the grind again!

thanks for the advise stash.11 did you take the 16, 12 or 8 week course. Were there many tests if so were study guides given. I'm trying to juggle a 2 year old and one on the way. Currently an LPN

I took this class almost 3 years ago. The online lab was a little tricky. I got a B in the class which was fine with me! I hear many students are taking Microbiology online also at Clovis college which I believe is in New Mexico, and might be a little less crazy and tuition is very reasonable for out of state. Like $90/credit and it transfers to a lot of colleges.
