Will the status on application hx change if they are considering hiring you?

For those who have applied to jobs online and have gotten hired, will there be something in the status that says such? Thanks for you help.

Yeah, my status changed from Active to Hired.

Maybe...maybe not.

And it's not automatic, so it may not be up to date

I have received the following status changes:

1) we have reviewed your qualifications and you have NOT been selected. Blah blah blah

2. We have reviewed your qualifications and will contact you if. blah blah blah

3. We have reviewed your qualifications and your information has been sent to the hiring manager.

All three status were from the same hospital but different job postings. One posting was for RN, another New grad, another RN intern... so I'm a little confused but hopeful. I think I'm going to send an email to follow up.
