Where are residing by the way? If you are not residing within in Makati then most probably the chance will be stiff. They prioritize their residents, I've tried to applied there but ubnfortunately got refused by NSO. :cry::cry::cry:..But that was last April I think. Follow up your application instead and call them by phone.:D:D

hi cathy, you were refused by the NSO?.. is it because you're not a residence of Makati, is that so? im not also a residence of makati =)

Yeah I was refused because I'm not a resident within Makati City. Just a penny of cent.

Dra. Paz, Assistant director of OSMAK, a neighbor in makati, claimed that their major priorities for those nurse applicants are resident of makati and graduate of Univ. of Makati. Any thoughts about it?

hello guys, so, its realy true that once your not a resident of makati, they'll refuse you? i am also planning to apply there as a nurse trainee.. are they still accepting?

hi to all. im currently completing all 19requirements for my application in OsMak. I shell out almost 10k just to comply with every single requirements.. they require updated certificates for BLS, ACLS and IVT.. the old lady on the HR dept didnt accept my requirements when i first try to submit it.. I'm a graduate of University of Makati and passed the board June of last year.. I am not sure myself if I will be accepted there.. no one can stop me.. ^_^

Am not a Makati Resident but they accepted my application. Its not true that they'll decline your application if youre not a resident; they are PRIORITIZING Makati resident.

osmak does not refuse non-Makati resident applicants! applicants will be screened based on ur status on the series of exams and interviews. credentials actually are not that significant as part of d screening process but its obviously an edge. its just that makati applicants are the priority. complete ur requirements before you submit to prevent delays and refusal from the receiving personnels. if you dont have acls its just okay... u can have taht completed even during ur employment... just meet the IVT BLS training as a minimum requirement for continuing education. i am currently working with ospital ng makati. i am proud to say that i receive the best so far of benefits and privileges as a nurse."i once worked with the country's best, and one of the world's best ST LUKE'S MEDICAL CENTER" but when i started working with osmak, i never underestimated its capacity to yield quality nurses. yes, i am proud i am working with osmak now, and i am blessed to an associate of this government institution. to all Filipino nurses, its generic for many to work abroad, but it feels grateful to serve first the country. let us not belittle the country's medical institutions for it is in them where we all have to start. do not sourgrape nor degrade OsMak for after all, you became a part of it. instead of mubbling with the mistakes you have discovered and observed, try to initiate change and do it your way. i just started with the institution and i am so proud. i am learning a lot, exposed to different cases, and contunuously improve my KSA. Osmak has advanced facilities, centralized airconditioned building, state of the art equipment and strives top meet its vision mission. i invite everyone to apply in OsMak. "i was amazed with the privileges talaga. maganda ang mga wards at pang private ang set up"... i hope one should not belittle Ospital Ng Makati. despite the previous issues, changes have set in and quality improvement has been established.
