- Feb 5 by Daisy_08Where are you living? The GTA? Mental health always seems to be hiring in my area. Try expanding your search and don't apply to just mental health, try ltc, home care ect. Having a year of Canadian experience will go a long wayBest if luck

- Feb 5 by Daisy_08Although in sure I've given it away, I don't want to say where I work. I have a friend who lives in Brampton and she too could not find a mental health job, she now commutes an hour, but loves her job. I know people hired into mental health in Cambridge, Kitchener, stratford, london and at homewood like Lori said. Ltc most deffinaly counts, especially for getting into mental health. I have seen mental health specific home care jobs too, not sure what your role would be?
- Feb 6 by joanna73That's for sure, Fiona. Various dementias, BPD, depression, anxiety, schizophrenia. Mental health is a huge part of LTC nursing.Fiona59 likes this.
