    Congrats first, I worked in LTC facility very briefly , I loved my clientele but hated the environment , because RNs were scared of some older HCSWs including DOC... Ridiculous & they ruled the place ... But good luck to u & grow thick skin to survive :)

    Could anyone help me to come out of my dilemma please.. I am working in a long term care facility on permanent job ( as per say) but now I have got an offer to work at CAMH on 6 months contract RN post...     Just hang in there dear., wait for the right time & right job will b in your pocket.. Don't get disheartened.. I have been giving interviews since last three months,finally got one full time job but had to stay away from my family... Which is very hard,but no pain no gain.., so have Faith in God and you will get there .. Good luck x
