I'm a redhead. One of my favorite songs is a song sung by Sam Cooke called "Little Red Rooster", wherein a rooster keeps everyone in the barnyard upset in every way, and is too lazy to crow for day.

The runner part is because I'm a runner.

When I was in high school we were studying Tennessee Williams, who is a classic American playwright. We read The Glass Menagerie, and I came to identify with one of the characters, Laura Wingfield. Her nickname, given to her by her potential love interest in the play, was Blue Roses.

Vintagemother... Because I felt like an old mom. Indeed I am an "old soul" and tend to have characteristics of the "older" generation. (My chronological age was actually quite young....30. But I felt like an old mom)

When I started the path to become a nurse, I had one child on high school, 1 in middle school and 1 about to start kindergarten.

I wondered if I was too old because of my responsibilities to my family.

But I learned that I wasn't too old. I'm not too old.

I'm now an LVN and have 1 child in college and another in high school and I'm still going to school to become an RN.

I now know I'm not too old, even now.

Well, I wish it was something meaningful or even quirky and interesting. It's just how I take my coffee, which is usually in my hands way to often as I scroll through AN's threads!
