In my peds textbook: "Vomiting of a projectile nature is frightening to parents..."

I'm glad they specified that, b/c I wouldn't understand what would be frightening them!

Our Psych book has little sections called "Norm's Notes"... they're usually good for a laugh or a :confused:

That sentence makes me want to add "HAR HAR HAR" to the end of it.

not from a nursing text, but from a sociology text. i was part of a group of 7th and 8th grade guinea pigs chosen to take sociology, psych, encon, and philosophy. the courses were freshman level courses and used college-level texts.

not a good word for kids that age to read in a classroom setting!
