by travelcat18 May 30, '12Had an interview for an SICU position yesterday. I thought it went really well, but it is torture waiting for a call. I know it may not even be til next week that I know anything. I would be THE luckiest new grad ever to score this position. I know it would be a lot of work and extremely challenging and I am up for the challenge!! (And of course I told them that)! A friend who works in their sister unit said they think I'm great, so I hope that's a good sign!!
Anyway, who else is waiting by the phone like a high school girl waiting on a boy to call??

- May 30, '12 by TerpGal02Fingers crossed, and I know that wait is killer. Don't give up on it though. I interviewed for my current job in early April and didn't hear anything until the second week of May. I had pretty much given up on it when I got the phone call. It only takes one
- May 30, '12 by heartNICUQuote from travelcat18Meeeeee!!!!! I've had three interviews these past couple of weeks. The first one was two weeks ago, and they said they would make their decision within 2-3 weeks. I had one yesterday, and they called today to say that they are checking my references. I also had one today that I'm really eager/anxious to hear back from, but they didn't give me a definite time frame!
