Waiting on a call after interview!

Had an interview for an SICU position yesterday. I thought it went really well, but it is torture waiting for a call. I know it may not even be til next week that I know anything. I would be THE luckiest new grad ever to score this position. I know it would be a lot of work and extremely challenging and I am up for the challenge!! (And of course I told them that)! A friend who works in their sister unit said they think I'm great, so I hope that's a good sign!!

Anyway, who else is waiting by the phone like a high school girl waiting on a boy to call??

Fingers crossed, and I know that wait is killer. Don't give up on it though. I interviewed for my current job in early April and didn't hear anything until the second week of May. I had pretty much given up on it when I got the phone call. It only takes one :)

Meeeeee!!!!! I've had three interviews these past couple of weeks. The first one was two weeks ago, and they said they would make their decision within 2-3 weeks. I had one yesterday, and they called today to say that they are checking my references. I also had one today that I'm really eager/anxious to hear back from, but they didn't give me a definite time frame!

I totally feel like a high school girl waiting for the phone to ring!! Haha

Good luck to you!

I had an interview yesterday too and I feel like I am waiting for NCLEX results. I really need a job I am running on fumes in the bank.

Thanks!! I've been half-heartedly putting in other apps....cause I really want this job, but I can't put all my eggs in one basket as they say.

Congrats on your job!!

Waiting, waiting, waiting.... lol

Still applying for other jobs, too... And I should focus this nervous energy into cleaning the house since it's been neglected since I started nursing school!
