I have to do my first simulation scenario with a group tomorrow. I was thinking of doing something simple like a transfusion reaction. Any ideas or thoughts on how to do this and remain calm. My anxiety level is pretty high.

I think to jump into a simulation without lots of time to get it ready is a huge expectation. My school has two people who are in charge of simulations and they work on each simulation for long periods of time!

Since you've already done it, I hope it went well for you!

I agree with the above comment. Depending on what level of simulation you are doing, preparation is key and it does take a lot of work.

Feel free to PM me with simulation questions. I design and run them as my job and I have presented at several conferences with our work in simulation! :)

We have METIman, Sim Man, ECS, and Lucina. You can also do a TON with live patient actors.
