Are you sure an EN does not mean CNA ? Do you know thje salary or wages for an EN ? An LVN/LPN is a 1 year program with a starting wage of 15.00-17.00 USD
Yes, I'm sure. An Enrolled nurse studies for 12 months, (or longer), an practises under the direction and supervision of the Registered nurse. She/he, however, while accountable to the RN, is responsible fro their own practise. THe US CNA is NOT the same as an Enrolled nurse. I'll stand corrected if proven wrong, but I'm pretty sure I'm on the money here.

Yes, thanks to Gwenith, we have our own version of the "Break Room"! :chuckle

Thanks monstermunch, I am feeling better. It's been on helluva journey on and off these past 12 months. You reach your 50's and the wheels drop off!
The thing is, I don't look, feel, or ACT as though I'm in my 50's! :hatparty:
But then again... HOW are we meant to BE once we reach middle-age???!!
Don't recall any law stating we must act, look, feel any particular way.
What I have learned though, without our health, nothing much matters really. Coz, without good health, you can't do much anyway! Ill-health is the absolute PITS! Especially when you're usually the one on the other side doing the work to help others who are ill!! But... it's certainly interesting, being the one on the receiving end!!!! :uhoh21: :stone
Every nurse should have a turn at being a patient!!!

    Hi Gwenith,

Hi, just want to find out how to get a job in your country. I just finished my Practical Nursing Course. Right now am preparing for my NCLEX-PN review. I am having a hardtime looking for an agency here in the Philippines that hires LPNs abroad. The course is new to them and most of the agency's here are only entertaining RNs for abroad. Is there a way you can recommend an agency wherein i can apply? in your country what licensure exams are needed? is NCLEX a requirement in your country? Please let me know. I am lost right now and dont how will i be able to use the course i've taken to have a new career. tnx

    Hey peoples,
sorry I haven't been around much lately. It's been a very busy few weeks trying to organise moving. I got into Flinders Housing to live for this year. Which is really great 'cause it gives me a year to really find my way around Adelaide and please God get my own place in 07.
Today I just finished Enrolling and I've already brought my oneway ticket, so everything is moving very fast now.

Hope everyone is well and I'm going to try and keep in touch more.
