    pls help me
what colours should i use to plot down temeperature, pulse, breathing curves on patient`s chart.

back in the "old days" :d we'd use:

    blue for temperature.
    black for pulse.
    green for resp.
    red for b/p.

but, that was a loooonnnngggg time ago!
those multi-colour pen makers made a fortune!

We use a graphic charting method, where the temp and pulse are separated on the chart. I do document temps over 38.5 in red, but that's not universal. I wish more people got how much easier it is to see trends when they're graphed, rather than written in as numbers...

Does anyone have opinions about the quality of teaching by School of nursing in USyd and nursing school in UTS SYD? I'm accepted into UTS but was hoping to study with USyd as its advance course doesn't have summer semesters in compared to UTS.

Sorry, all Melbourne at my end, but BUMP in case anyone in NSW has an opinion.

You could also check out the Good Guides for reviews from students (but I think that requires payment).

Hi guys, I am hoping somebody may be able to provide me with some info. I am currently studying nursing (mental health) at degree level in the UK and expect to qualify in September 2013. I am looking to the future, and would love to work and live in Australia, preferably Melbourne, if this was possible. Can anybody tell me if it is possible to get work as Mental health nurse in Melbourne, or anywhere else in Australia, without getting two years post qualification experience in the UK first? I would like to move to Australia around six months after qualifying.

I'm coming over to NSW in September for a year.... Who's down for tea and giving me the real digs on ED nursing in Oz, so I don't need to wear an adult diaper on my first day? :P
