I have seen there are a lot of nurses who availed, availing (like me), and contemplating to avail of Philman's packages . . . so i guess a new thread for us is just proper. Hope that everyone can share their experiences with the process to guide everyone. thank you.

Hi. I am a newbie here doing some research and reading blogs for additional knowledge. Hoping you guys, my collegues would help me on my future career.

i would like to ask if your nurse experience in saudi arabia would be credited or considered when u apply to australia. i mean, does the nursing council would honour your experience as a nurse in saudi? i heard that its least chance to get there when uve worked in saudi. how true is that.

thanks! Godbless you all:)

Does any body know if Philman will be asking any collaterals? like land titles or any property as collateral?

I am an RN with 2 years experience in Emergency Department? what are my chances in getting a job after the Bridging? and after the bridging, is it easy to convert the student visa into a working visa? thanks guys

I would just like to ask if it is possible for you to apply for a full time position while you are ongoing with your bridging program? is there a great chance of you being hired by an employer for a full time position before your visa expires? thank you. ^_^

Maam, considering it happened, how is your sister doing right now in aus?

To Ceridwyn or Silverdragon: Please give me an honest advise. I have 10 years hospital experience and I'm contemplating on pursuing my australian dream through Philman because I have no financial means on doing it on my owou n. I am aware of the interest rate but still, I may be willing to go for it because in return, I might be able to acquire permanent residency which I believe will greatly benefit my kids. How is the job market for nurses in australia today? Do you think it would be too risky for me to push through? Please help me decide.

Specializes in Medical and general practice now LTC.

I am in Canada so know nothing about the job market but reading some of the posts it isn't good especially if sponsorship is required but a lot I imagine will depend on where in Australia you are looking. Having experience in my opinion should help

hello.

Can anyone tell me how much should I have for 3 months that is sufficient. I borrowed a loan under Philman's agency and was able to claim 1.3M . Do you think after all the deductions like tuition 12K and airfare the remaining amount would be enough? Thanks guys I really wanted to know

I would loan as little as possible, if your mind open to hear, that Fil nurses are bashing their embassy doors down due to not able to pay loan agencies back as there is not much sponsorship available now, or work as an independent skilled worker to live and pay them back...Philman was one of the companies of these loans first complained.

In Australia, no one is allowed to charge such interest that you cannot live off the pay, even if you are very lucky to get a full time job.

There is now unemployed local nurses and graduates, that must be trained for jobs that are difficult to fill, as of the new instructions on immigration.

hello anyone,

can you tell me how much is sufficient for 3 months in Australia?
