@karinnakaye unfortunately, it takes almost a month just to scan your documents to their system and once you are put on queue, another 6 to 8 weeks for them to issue a decision, so more or less 3 months waiting time. Very frustrating indeed. If they find something wrong or lacking in your documents, that will add another 3 months waiting time again, so make sure your documents are complete and correct to avoid further delays.

Hello! I once contemplated on going to Australia through the help of this agency. I know some colleagues who were successful in finding jobs after the bridging program and they often encourage me by telling me that my work experience is very much better than them that the risk of not landing on a job and not being able to pay Philman is very thin. I really had a hard time deciding, I even inquired in different agencies deploying nurses in Australia who are also offering financial assistance through loans (Philman's loan package is best and more accomodating). In the end I decided not to pursue my Australian dream for now because I cannot risk my family's financial stability ( all agencies I inquired quoted loan interest of almost 100%). Yes, It is possible that I will succeed, actually I was almost certain that I will be able to land a job but it was also possible that I might not. Anyway, I was hired by a hospital in England (FYI: no placement fees were collected). If you have IELTS of 7 in all bands why dont you go this route first, it is very much cheaper and more certain. Then think of Australia in the future. I hope I helped .

I have 10 years hospital experience and I'm contemplating on pursuing my australian dream through Philman because I have no financial means on doing it on my owou n. I am aware of the interest rate but still, I may be willing to go for it because in return, I might be able to acquire permanent residency which I believe will greatly benefit my kids. How is the job market for nurses in australia today? Do you think it would be too risky for me to push through? Please help me decide.

[it's your first employment, you're a new nurse. Give yourself a break, not all beginnings go smoothly, give yourself enough time to get used to the workplace and who knows you might perform well once you become comfortable.

I suggest you read the guidelines in answering questions in the Kaplan reviewer. Use the Saunders cd for the Q and A and always read the rationale. I passed the nclex-rn using only one reference(Saunders)) as my reviewer, I think it is more effective rather than using multiple reviewers by multiple authors. You can do it. Good luck!
