I have seen there are a lot of nurses who availed, availing (like me), and contemplating to avail of Philman's packages . . . so i guess a new thread for us is just proper. Hope that everyone can share their experiences with the process to guide everyone. thank you.

I have submitted my application last month to the agency and they forwarded it to AHPRA for me after they have reviewed its completeness. i received an email of confirmation of receipt of application from AHPRA last week. Its a donotreply email account. Those with experience, how soon did you get another email from them?

Count me in! But still waiting for the confirmation from AHPRA, mine was sent april 17 in vic. Btw, tokiya, did AG coordinated with you already since you already received a confirmation?

As I browse through allnurse, there were a lot of concerns and feedback about the company and AG, but i guess, its a case to case basis and ones which we really do have to analyze.

Come to think of it, so long as the interest is not that high for the loan, I guess I still would have to go for it as I dont have any other options or sources.

i did not avail of philman's assistance. i chose to do it on my own. :)

my take on this is that if you have the means to come up with the funds needed to pursue your plan to work in australia, do it yourself without the aid of an agency. the process is not that complicated and you can figure it out by asking around, reading forums, etc. by doing so, you can save a lot of money in the long run (taking in consideration the interest rates offered by agencies.)

on the other hand, if you don't have the means to come up with the funds, or you're more comfortable knowing that your documents and application are being handled by someone more knowledgeable than you, or you simply just don't want to get your hands dirty, then i say go for it. although you must not forget that in the end, you might end up shelling out twice the amount of money you normally would've, should you have done it yourself.

How true. But im really financially tied at the moment. I wish I have another option. huhuhu.

Lucky for those who have financial capabilities or have the other means to come up with funds they can pursue their Australian dream without thinking about the loan and interest. But how about those financially constraints? they have no way but to tie with the agency in order to pursue their dreams.

hi. i submitted my docs to Philman March 18. AHPRA sent me an email of Receipt of Documents on April 16. I received my assessment letter yesterday.

Sadly, there area lot of things that needed to be corrected.

PLEASE CHECK YOUR NOTARIZED DOCUMENTS. Ensure that the contact number of the notary Public is indicated. The samplesent out to us by Philman did not include the CONTACT NUMBER.

Oh? You're right.. i didn't include the telephone number as well. Does it mean my papers will be returned to me? By the way, in what ahpra state did they submit your docs? Thanks.
