Is it visitor visa subclass 600-Business stream or Tourist stream? Just confused.

Business visitor. This is what's written on my visa grant notice. Though I remember I did have moments of confusion when I started filling up the online application. I'm sorry, my answer is not really helpful. I remember selecting business for conference or something.

Is it possible to shift a subclass 600 visa to student visa? Just in case I applied for a school which requires subclass 600 visa and I didn't find a job after registration, can I take courses and acquire student visa? thank you.

that is very possible but make sure that you don't overstay your 90 days limit per entry for the business visa and you have additional funds for the student visa as the show money is quiet a hefty sum.

Hi. I applied for a Visit Visa (subclass 600) multiple entry. I don't know if there are other visas we can apply for considering the circumstance of our visit.

For the LOE, I think you can ask for an extension from AHPRA. But I think a year is enough.

Hello Amaree21, may I ask around how much funds should one prepare as show money when applying for subclass 600? Thanks.

Hello purply20. May I ask around how much do they ask for show money when it comes to student visa?

Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone! I am new to this thread but I just wanted to ask some help or suggestions on what to expect. I am a Filipino RN and I have a cousin who is in Aus and since I passed my IELTS, she offered to assist me financially in my AHPRA assessment.. kinda getting a huhe discount here..So, I sent to her the requirements needed for agos 40.

I have a 1 yr and 8 mos, paid hospital experience though, i graduated with a bsn degree here in the Philippines, i just want to hear what are the chances of that bein denied or approved? Do you know what were the usual outcomes of applications like this? Like does this actually need a bridgin program? And what could I ususally expect after the results are made. Thank you and Godbless!

A nurse who is educated in the Philippines is almost always required to undergo bridging.

I've read before that nurses who were Philippine-educated but practised in the UK for a number of years were exempted from bridging but I am not sure about that.

Ok Mimbletonia. Thanks for this info! So that will be my fate i think. How long does a bridging program usually last and how much is the usual cost? Anyway, I am also currently applying for uk, just so sad that the immigration in uk got stricter grrrr. will the assessment in ahpra expire? Sorry for the many questions.

Bridging courses take about 3 months. Costs depend on the institution, maybe around 11-14k AUD. AHPRA referral letters are valid for 1 year.

Hi ikris. I'm sorry I can't help you with that question. I really don't know. Some would say 200k is enough. But I don't know how true this is.
