Hello everybody,I finally applied for required documents to school and registration council. I'm confused whether we have to get forwarded original transcript or a copy of it as my school refused to issue an original one to be sent to AHPRA. They concluded that original transcript is issued only once and they can only forward a copy of transcript signed and stamped by Principal. I am really worried if that would be enough to meet the requirements. Moreover, it costs me a fortune to go to school again and get documents forwarded as I'm in a remote place now. Any reply/help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
What I did was photocopy the original documents then have the photocopies certified. These certified documents were the ones I mailed to AHPRA. I passed my documents last June and they (AHPRA) didn't ask me to pass anything else after that.
Thanks for your response, Mimbletonia! You are quite fortunate having cleared the requirements without any problems. Is your application in final stage of assessment? Hope all goes well for us. Fingers crossed!
You are welcome. Regarding my application, I actually have no idea! I have emailed AHPRA 3x ever since I lodged my application and they just told me that they are still assessing it. I hope to get my much anticipated LOE soon! Hope everything goes well with your application too 😊
Hi! Have you passed your initial set of documents to ahpra? Ctc of your tor is okay. That's what i sent to them too. I think the school doesn't need to send your original tor directly to ahpra. They only need the letter from your education provider (you can see the format in their website). As for my case, i needed to ask for another set of original tor and other docs from my school because they have to send it to ched for registration concil.
And also, just an update to my last post. I still haven't received an e mail from ahpra. They sent me a hard copy instead. Haha. Will be sending my goodstanding from prc tomorrow. Good luck to all of us! :)
Hi! I submitted my application last August 27. I handed it personally in AHPRA office in Melbourne. Last Monday, i already got an email from my RO and asking me to resend again my statement of service as it needs to indicate whether i was working full time or part time. I replied to her and inform her that I didnt bother to arrange for criteria 2 and 3. Just today, she emailed me that I just did the right thing cause Philippines doesnt meet those criteria. She's now waiting for my updated statement of service to commence the assessment of application
In just 29 days, I got my LOE yesterday! That's right, just 29 days. Here's my timeline:
Aug. 6 – Sent my documents personally to AHPRA Sydney office. Paid the fees.
Aug. 20 – Received an email from my RO that in order for the assessment to begin, I need to submit my ICHC reference page. My bad.
Aug. 21 – Sent a copy of ICHC page thru email. RO replied that my application will now progress to final assessment stage.
Sept. 4 – Received my LOE.
WHAT I DID:
> Submitted criterion 2 and 3 – AHPRA's decision: DID NOT MEET†the following criteria.
> Submitted criterion 8 – AHPRA's decision: evidence provided was insufficient and therefore DID NOT MEET†the following criteria.
I decided to submit 2, 3 & 8 to make sure that I had provided all the necessary documents in each criterion. (1-8)
> Submitted all the documents together in one envelope. A completed AGOS 40 with all certified copy of documents that includes:
1. Proof of identity
2. School documents – Medium of instruction, Pharma-criterion 8, Diploma, TOR, etc (ask your school, they know that)
3. Work History – COE and CV – ALL originals, signed and dated
4. ICHC ref page – no need to certify
5. OET/ IELTS - CERTIFIED
6. PRC documents (board cert, prc card, etc)
7. Training Certificates
8. CHED – criterion 3
NOTE: Arrange the documents according to AGOS 40.
Only the Certificate of Good Standing was sent separately. You can send it on your own provided that you put PRC as your sender.
> For COE – Make sure that you tell your HR to put CASUAL instead of Reliever/Probationary and PERMANENT FULL-TIME for regular. Also, include the TOTAL NUMBER of HRS rendered during your employment.
> For PROFESSIONAL REFERENCE – Ask your superior to stipulate that you have been working in either a SUPERVISED or UNSUPERVISED manner, and if possible, indicate PERMANENT FULL-TIME as well.
I'd be happy to help anyone out in any way I can. You can contact me thru my email: [email protected]
For those eyeing for IHNA Melbourne Nov intake, See yah all. Cheers!
So happy for you, Xtercal. Your post will definitely benefit all future applicants. Many thanks for providing such useful information. You talked about professional references. Do we need to send them too. I didn't send any professional references or other short training/PDRP certificates as it was nowhere mentioned in AGOS40. Congratulations!
