@lordcroft18 documents completed and all in april 2014. ;)

@ldvc how did you do ur criteria 2 and 3? :)

hi @janey1287, both my education provider and ched sent letters directly to ahpra for both 2,3:) your ro will send you a format for that.

:) thank you mate :) my school asked me what to send to aphra :o . can i ask what your school sent mate? did you have to go to PRC too?

Guys please bear with me. Im really having a hard time with my aphra application. It says on criteria 2 that the education institution should send an evidence to aphra, but ive read things like CHED. so is it our school or ched for criteria 2. For criteria 3 is that PRC certifications? than you very much for your help.

Criteria 2 - It's from your school. Request for a certification from them stating that the school was accredited externally when you took the BSN curriculum (eg. PAASCU accreditation). Use the official AHPRA letter template. Arrange this with your dean's office.

Criteria 3 - It's from CHED. Go to the CHED office and tell them about the AHPRA requirement. They should know what to do. :)

Don't forget to print both templates for Criteria 2 and 3. Give these templates to your education provider and CHED. These are the official format from AHPRA. The templates are found here: Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia - IQNM: Criteria 1 - 8 for internationally qualified registered nurses

thanks for that!;)

You may not have to send anything for these criteria, actually. Since Philippines did not meet the set standards, there's no point sending your documents. Confirm it with your RO.

Thank you very much for the thorough explanation :) with regards to the other criteria, do i need to request to the PRC other docs as well for them to send it straight to aphra? Thank you very much in advance

Thank you :) hope that will be the case

yes you have to request for a cert of good standinh to be sent directly by prc to ahpra

Thank you very much. :)

this came from my ro few minutes ago..

Dear (. )

Thank you for your email.

We have begun processing applications which were received in November 2013. As your application was received in December 2013 it is likely that you will be processed within the next 2 months.

RO

Goodness what a pain!

It would seem that considering everyone's timeline, everything appears to be inconsistent. An applicant from April 2014 (jodti) will be considered on Nov 5, your application although 4 months ahead will be considered somewhere between now and January.

My guess is that the ROs are confused. At any rate, going through AHPRA's now long list of FAQs their advise is to actually avoid contacting the RO and contact AHPRA directly as the clerks have access to the status. It could be that our ROs are getting overwhelmed. Again, a theory.
