Dear (RO),
It has been 3 weeks now since the board first convened regarding Philippine-trained applicants.
My school which was supposed to have me on August 2014 is requesting for an update on my status. I would mean a lot to me if you would be able to give me an update regarding my application's status.
Thank you.
Warm regards,

Dear Mr (me),
Thank-you for your email.
AHPRA is processing applications from internationally qualified nurse and midwives by date of receipt order
It is likely that your application will be taken for considered by the NSW Board of the NMBA in December. All decisions are communicated by email and post within three weeks of the meeting date.
I hope this update has been helpful and please let me know if you have any further questions.
Regards,
(RO)

Oh well, March intake it is. My application was deemed complete on August but all documents in on March 2014.
Okay, relax. I don't know if I want to believe my RO's response since I only applied last May (although IQNM reqs were sent last April). Maybe it's the product of constant e-mails last August and September and CC it to senior reg officer and head of reg department of NMBA. I am also thinking that the reply is for someone else. Haha.
Here it is:
Dear Mr Piperacillin+Tazobactam,
Thank you for your email.
I can confirm your application was considered by the Nursing and Midwifery Board on 22 October 2014.
The decisions and actions are usually communicated within 3-4 weeks of the meeting date.
Kind regards,
Ampicillin+Sulbactam

And yes, I am still thinking that my RO got confused and sent this to me. Haha!
Good on you official! Anyway, in my case March intake is probably the most convenient way of doing it. I guess I'll just have to hold still and see how it goes, I do hope you get your letter soon official, and remember what I said many pages ago, enjoy the time you have with your loved ones now. You will miss them painfully once you leave. :)
By August you mean August 2014? When were you informed that your application has been forwarded to the national assessment team for IQNM?
Yes. I had everything arranged so that everything would be sent early but then I got a response saying that documentation for criteria 2 3 and 8 were missing. These were received as early as March, I had to point that out to my RO and as soon as that was done, I was told that it would be handled by the national assessment team (Aug 2). A mistake on their part but apparently, I had to pay the price for that too.

What the... How could they lose your documents like that? From March to August - that's a lot of time wasted considering it wasn't your fault they missed those documents. Tsk tsk.
this came from my ro few minutes ago..Dear (. )
Thank you for your email.
We have begun processing applications which were received in November 2013. As your application was received in December 2013 it is likely that you will be processed within the next 2 months.
RO
I thought they are processing applications by order of receipt? Yours (December 2013) is yet to be processed while those who submitted in April and May this year have been already discussed by the Board for decision. Now I'm confused... When did you comply with the IQNM requirements (criteria 2,3 and 8), by the way?
Guys please bear with me. Im really having a hard time with my aphra application. It says on criteria 2 that the education institution should send an evidence to aphra, but ive read things like CHED. so is it our school or ched for criteria 2. For criteria 3 is that PRC certifications? than you very much for your help.
