I have started a thread in the Immigration for Immigration requirements for Australia/New Zealand
Thats what i thought too but some were asked by their ROs so thats a little bit confusing. Thanks for all the help guys
Hmmm....
AHPRA determined only in September 2014 that all applicants who are Philippine-trained would not meet these 2 criteria; prior to this date, all applicants were requested to submit evidentiary documents that these criteria were met. Although the PH has an established system to accredit nursing schools, AHPRA does not deem the process to be at par with Australian standards. Hence, regardless of what is presented, we would not meet the requirements.
I would guess that the updated FAQ only included that clause (Q 3 5 6) after their research on the Philippine system, meaning new applicants from September would not be asked for these (following the FAQ they posted).
Goodness what a pain!It would seem that considering everyone's timeline, everything appears to be inconsistent. An applicant from April 2014 (jodti) will be considered on Nov 5, your application although 4 months ahead will be considered somewhere between now and January.
My guess is that the ROs are confused. At any rate, going through AHPRA's now long list of FAQs their advise is to actually avoid contacting the RO and contact AHPRA directly as the clerks have access to the status. It could be that our ROs are getting overwhelmed. Again, a theory.

I wish it was me @jmolina1985. I started my application late August of this year. btw, the "order of date receipt" Are they talking about the time you paid for the assessment or the time you have completed your application?
Hi janey1287, regarding criterias 2 and 3 , I think it's better to phone ahpra to confirm.I'm just telling this coz this morning, I went to ahpra Sydney, the young lady at the front office said they still need the documentary evidence to support criterias 2 and 3. I told her, that i'm kinda confuse coz it's clearly written at the webpage faqs that we don't need to comply. She asked me to phone her tom. to confirm.
I guess, and hopefully our decisions would come out sometime in November-January. I bet that would be enough time since their so called "Decision" around October. I sent mine around January 2014, and receive the same "Answering Machine/Copy Paste" response. It's been more than a year for some, and now the wait is nearing it's end, but still, it's feels quite longer than before. Being left hanging. I wonder how will this affect our ANMAC, and immigration processing which comes after, for our batch I mean.

The application has multiple stages now. Payment occurs in stage 1, and completion of outstanding documents in the following stage. My guess is, my documents were said to be misplaced on stage 2. It is also in stage 2 where you will be told that your application has been forwarded to a review team.
Oh, sorry about the confusion, I was tracking multiple applicants for a time line. :)

The way I see it, it should make ANMAC assessments faster.

From the immigration point of view, the only problem I can see with this delay is the lapsing of the IELTS/OET scores. For immigration purposes, language proficiency is good for 3 years but for those who are nearing the 2 year mark, this is heavy crunch time. Furthermore, those caught in the loops of waiting and is in the bracket of age nearing 32 may find themselves a bit disadvantaged when it comes to points

Good news is, you don't have to send documentation from these criteria.
