Help - copy of clinical rotation schedule

World Registration

so i submitted my repeat/reapply application to CA BRN only to find out that they are asking another requirement from me..

- a copy of your clinical rotation schedule for all cases: assisted/actual deliveries, cord dressing and major/minor surgeries.

that is the exact wordings on the letter.. i am positive that i submitted all the necessary requirements and was even made eligible before by the board to take the exam but why are they asking for this now..?

am getting frustrated and stressed out about this.. what do they exactly mean by this..? are these the cases that we have to complete upon graduation to take the NLE in the philippines..?

i didn't take my local board back home because my visa was about to expire and i know for a fact that it is not necessary to take the CA NCLEX..

please help.. thank you :(

@ proudpinay, my clinical record has all the schedule on it....but in the letter it stated that am required to provide my "clinical rotation record" only,...yeah, i know,i was end up now planning to take the nclex pn instead....hopfully your papers will comes out ok..Godbless u

@ mjhay....kabayan if your clinical rotation record doesnt have schedule on it,so how come the board will know that your clinical cases were incomplete?I wonder how or where they really base their decision not to give applicants their eligibility..:(right nowIm still waiting for CABON's reply..:(

They base it to our cases, our ob cases must fall on ncm 101 while MS cases on ncm 102 and/or ncm 103. They want that all components of our training including our cases must fall on the corresponding semester. But honestly, I am not satisfied with their reasoning why they need to include our cases on the concurrency issue because what's important is the theory and the clinical rotation. How I wish we can still fight for our application.

hello. what documents did the BRN ask from you? is it the PRC cases alone or including the clinical rotation schedule? can you please add me on ym? i need to discuss something with you. thanks.

Hi guys, I have the same problem. The board just sent me a mail saying that I needed to submit a copy of my clinical cases. I have the summary but I don't have all the actual case numbers. I have my Actual/Cord/Assist...but misplaced my Minor/major.

Do they still need even if I just submit my summary.

So stressed out with the studying and this came along.

please help.

can you add me on YM? coz we have the same problem. i just wanna get updated. this ismy ID: [email protected]

i think it would be the same as the cases we needed to graduate. that's what i was told.

i just got a letter from the board too. Does that mean that we need to send our PRC form to them with the RLE?

In order to gain copies of your cases you can usually request them directly from your college. They should have a copy of your cases on file which are the same ones you submitted to the Professional Regulation Commission prior to your licensure exam. Make sure that they are in the same state they were when you last submitted them meaning they should be properly signed, sealed and notarized to avoid any mishaps.

Unfortunately, when the BON of CA sends you a letter requesting for a copy of your clinical cases this usually leads to inevitably being denied. Although, I do not discourage anyone from trying since they might be lucky enough to be one of the rare cases where they accept the cases.

Hi kabayan! had the same scenario, so im thinking if i should take the nclex-pn instead or apply in other state. Do you what are the requirements needed for nclex-pn? Thanks!

HEy guys! I guess we're all in the same boat. The last letter i received from the California BON states that i needed to submit

"a copy of your clinical rotation schedule for all cases- assisted/actual deliveries, cord dressing and major/minor surgeries"

and my nursing school in the Philippines provided this document in a very timely manner. But that was about three months ago

that i called in and confirmed that the BON has indeed received the required document...

And my evaluator hasn't been the most helpful to explain what is going on with the status of my application.

Has any one of you guys have had the same long waiting experience? And do you know or have heard of anyone who has submitted the documents the California BON are requiring and have been given the go-signal to sit for the NCLEX-RN?

I'd appreciate all the help i can get. Thanks!

Hi rlpogi... Do you know Bout that clinical rotation schedule? And is actual deliveries same with Handle deliveries? Thanks...

Hi I am now facing the same problem. Can somebody pls explain to me te additional requirement they are asking which is "clinical rotation schedule for all clinical cases completed (actual and assisted deliveries, cord dressings, major/minor procedures) reflecting exact dates clinical coursework was completed, locations rotations were completed. instructor signature. etc.". I really have no idea what this is. Should I also include the cases with this or there is no need to do that since they didnt indicate it.
