Filipino NCLEX Passer (Florida) for VISA SCREEN

Hi there

I am a Filipino,a registered nurse, who graduated last 2008 but took the NCLEX exam just this year. I both passed the NCLEX and IELTS this year 2016. I was with the NEAC Application Center when I processed the NCLEX for Florida so this is very difficult for me to start with since I have to review the steps back for me to understand.

Recently, I was hired with PASSPORT USA and they have been instructing me to file for the VISA SCREEN. I did and follow their instructions. Infact, I used my previous account in the CGFNS when they did the CES prior the EXAM. However, I would like to ask about the verification of the documents to the nursing SCHOOL AND THE PRC (license). I have done filling up with these forms for verification, do I have to do it again? MY CES WILL EXPIRE TILL NEXT YEAR OF JANUARY 2017

To make this short, Id like to ask:

1. DO I HAVE TO FILL UP THOSE FORMS AND GIVE IT TO THE SCHOOL AND PRC (LICENSE)AGAIN?

2. ISNT IT THAT THE CES IS UNDER CGFNS? IS THERE A WAY POSSIBLE THAT ILL JUST PASS THE CES CERTIFICATE SO THEY WILL JUST IMMEDIATELY PROCEED WITH THE ISSUANCE OF VERIFICATION?

I would double check with CGFNS but usually they can use documents that have already been received

thank you Silverdragon, totally appreciated it. I guess Ill have to email them tomorrow. I am almost done with the online processing. I have printed the same pages actually, I am still in doubt if I will continue to pay the service yet,since I am not sure if I will have to send those forms to the appropriate agency and mail them again to CGFNS. We had done this before, this might be a redundant.

I have already sent an email from the British Council to send my English result score, however, regarding the NCLEX result, I am still in doubt of how to do it. Do I have to ask PEARSONVUE to mail my results or the Florida Board of Nursing?

I have read through the forums that I do have to asked the Board of Nursing Florida to foward my results to CGFNS, however, I am not sure of the form. I want to clarify if Request for Validation of License/Registration/Diploma is the form to be sent. And lastly, how do I pay the 25 dollars fee?

I would really appreciate it if someone can help me with this.

You are right. You will print the form from CGFNS and forward it to the US board of nursing. The US Board will mail the form to CGFNS to verify passing of NCLEX.

I am already preparing for the request of the nclex passing results (BON FLORIDA) to be forwarded to the CGFNS, however, I dont know how a bank draft really goes, to whom will I name it on the payee?

Hi nursedexie, I am also a Philippine nurse that passed the NCLEX-RN and am trying to understand the Visa Screen. I also emailed CGFNS to ask with regards to the documents we already sent for the CES in relation to the application for VISA SCREEN. Good for you your CES has not expired yet. As for me,my CES expired already and I inquired about their service of ESAVED documents. If I avail of the ESAVED, will those documents (not the CES as it already expired) can still be used for the VISA SCREEN as they are one and the same. Another thing for me is unfortunately my school closed and I'm uncertain how to accomplish the forms now in the event that ESAVing my documents will not be valid for VISA SCREEN.

So far I sent two inquiries to CGFNS, but all they answered was that I can avail of the ESAVED but will not extend validity of my CES and did not answer my other question pertaining to if the documents can be used for VISA SCREEN as well. It has been very frustrating with CGFNS as I clearly stated my queries with them and answer me partially. I'd just appreciate a straight forward answer. It's like one email, one question, one answer for them w/c I do not understand.

Would you kindly keep us posted here on your progress and also the process please? I will also let you know as soon as CGFNS gives me a response. I'd post my question and their response, but I am unsure if that will violate any rules both here and for CGFNS.

With regards to my application, they had used my CES report since the expiration is still on until January 2017. I am not really familiar about the case. About your problem which is your school, Have you tried calling through their hotline? It seems like a good thing to do since you have so many questions, at least you could ask immediately to them. For sure they have other alternatives to address your case. Moreover, have you asked with CHED? Cause they are the one who has the records for the university or colleges who have closed or have burned down. I am not pretty sure but I guess, its okay to try. Just to broaden up your choices to deal with the problem

I remember I was going to pay for something thru a bank draft also. It was confusing and I think I asked at the postal office but then just ended up using a credit card. I hope it goes well for you.

yes, I think all went well now. I had done it with PNB since I have a savings account there and they accept PESO ACCOUNT, they will just convert it into dollar draft. I mailed it thru FED-ex since DHL does not accept cheques and bank draft. So far, with regards to CGFNS, they are updating my application timely. They have been sending me emails regarding the update, infact, they sent me one last night telling me that they are just waiting for the nclex results to be forwarded from the board of nursing.

I have tried emailing the cgfns board, yes, more likely its the way they write, to avoid confusion maybe. So, I would like you to maybe call them. There are PLDT offices that charges international calls at a cheaper rate. This would at least give you a clearer view and instructions for your problem. It is quite difficult to send email when you have lots of concerns.

Only cgfns issue visa screen certificate
