Filipino NCLEX Passer (Florida) for VISA SCREEN

Published

Hi there

I am a Filipino,a registered nurse, who graduated last 2008 but took the NCLEX exam just this year. I both passed the NCLEX and IELTS this year 2016. I was with the NEAC Application Center when I processed the NCLEX for Florida so this is very difficult for me to start with since I have to review the steps back for me to understand.

Recently, I was hired with PASSPORT USA and they have been instructing me to file for the VISA SCREEN. I did and follow their instructions. Infact, I used my previous account in the CGFNS when they did the CES prior the EXAM. However, I would like to ask about the verification of the documents to the nursing SCHOOL AND THE PRC (license). I have done filling up with these forms for verification, do I have to do it again? MY CES WILL EXPIRE TILL NEXT YEAR OF JANUARY 2017

To make this short, Id like to ask:

1. DO I HAVE TO FILL UP THOSE FORMS AND GIVE IT TO THE SCHOOL AND PRC (LICENSE)AGAIN?

2. ISNT IT THAT THE CES IS UNDER CGFNS? IS THERE A WAY POSSIBLE THAT ILL JUST PASS THE CES CERTIFICATE SO THEY WILL JUST IMMEDIATELY PROCEED WITH THE ISSUANCE OF VERIFICATION?

tHANK YOU

What do I need to do to update my application status with cgfns. cgfns is still waiting for my passing nclex-rn result..

Also, I have been in contact via emails with a person who is working for Florida Board of Nursing. She is a Regulatory Specialist. She told me via email that I need two Visa Screen (one from CGFNS and another one from FL Board of Nursing) That made me confused.

You need to arrange with your BON to send verification of passing NCLEX to CGFNS

Hi

you only need to have one visa screen but you will need to communicate with the two offices.

1. go to cgfns website. fill up the forms for visa screen and pay for their fees by credit card.

2. contact bon-florida to send them your certificate of passing to cgfns. they know what to do already. you can check on their website for the email add. you will be advised to make a request letter in paper with a bank draft amounting to 25 dollars for the processing fee.

Hi nursedexie,

This is a bit off topic. I would like to ask your opinion about your experience with Passport USA so far. I have initially spoken with them and thinking of going thru their Achieve program. I have all documents on hand (visa screen, US RN license, PD current). I just want to be sure before I finalize things with them.

Your help will be much appreciated.

PS: Can I PM you?

Hi sophie, I really don't know if it is allowed to give personal contacts. However, base from my experience, passport USA is very professional, efficient and had been with the industry for quite long. It means that they have established and had gain many contacts and clients already and had been knowledgeable with various EB3 problems. I am fresh NCLEX passer and they took me in a month after I passed. I had already had my IELTS result so they had my VISASCREEN sponsored for free. They paid and assisted me with the process. They provided me with the forms and sources and everything for me went well. My agent, Ms. ****** is very efficient, friendly and professional. I can have queries answered for a short period. When I was done with my VISASCREEN, they immediately forwarded my file to process the EB3 application and in a month a I had my priority date. The submission of the files are fast and not costly since I am sending it only thru local courier because they have the office in CEbu and Manila. So, from the months of August to November, I had my documents completed and I am just only waiting for my Priority date to be current. I am blessed with Passport USA. That is all I can say, I hope this will help you

Good day,

I just want to know, there's section in the Visa Screen process asking me for all the licenses I've ever held. I know for sure that I should include my Philippine License but I'm not quite sure if I need to also list my US license. Will the Philippine license be enough?

Thank you.

Hi, I actually had just written my Philippine License but I do not know with your case since, they might be able to trace that you have a previous US license. You can ask through email their customer rep in CGFNS ( wizard ) to verify

We have the same agency. I would like to ask whether your EB3 petition has been approved? Mine was filed a year before yours and yet mine is still pending.

Specializes in MS, Emergency.

They are an agency. You are basically an employee of passport USA until you finished the number of hours stipulated in your contract.

Hospital pays Passport USA, Passport USA pays you. That is what I know when I spoke to them.

"Direct hire" is if you applied directly to the hospital. Then the hospital files the petition for you via their in-house legal office etc.

I am in California now and I can attest, they are legit.
