CGFNS CVS Help, Ready for Review Status

Hi. I applied for the CVS program of CGFNS which is a requirement to be licensed in New York.

Well, everything was going well in the beginning. CGFNS and my school's transaction went well. GGFNS got all the things they asked for without any problems. They informed me that they received my transcripts and changed my status from "Waiting for Required Items" to "Ready for Review". My problem is that, its been two months and my status is still "Ready for Review" :confused:

is that normal?.. or is something wrong? Im really worried about it. Does it take that long to actually do the review? Im really tired of waiting and i feel there is nothing i cud do about it. I feel so powerless. :crying2:

wow you are so lucky to have it processed for just 4 1/2 months. i tried to verify the address via email but unfortunately their reply was not related to my concern. here's my email: [email protected] sorry for the late reply and thank you so much for your help and time. ^__^

@zackxylon may I know how long did it take for your CVS to be processed? Three months have passed and yet my school hasn't received the request letter. Is that normal? Thanks ^^

You need to monitor your school and board of nursing to make sure they send all that cgfns required to hasten the process. atimes it takes up to 1yr. mine was completed at 8mths. relaxe your school will receive request letter.

hi zackxylon, i have some questions regarding my CVS application and I hope you can enlighten me. I sent my license authorization form and transcript authorizations forms to CGFNS last february. They got both forms already. What's next? From what I understand, CGFNS will then send letters to my school and licensing authority, right? Because right now, my status still says "Waiting to be Received" for my LICENSE VALIDATION FORM FROM PHILIPPINES and TRANSCRIPT VALIDATION FORM. I tried asking my school if they got a letter from CGFNS but unfortunately they haven't received anything.. it's been 4 months already. I'm kinda worried.. :(

Hi. My current status is READY FOR FINAL REVIEW. may i know what it means and how long will it take for CGFNS to change it to ready for submission? Last month (June 6) my status was READY FOR REVIEW. It only took them a month. I think CVS is fast now. Just wondering.. thanks in advance

HI..I just want to ask regarding my CVS application..in my account, it is stated LICENSE VALIDATION FORM FROM PHILIPPINES

Meets All Program Requirements (Credentials) - Document was reviewed by credential evaluator and it was determined that the document met all program requirements for the service.

Requirement Waived (All requirements) - An International Credentials Evaluator has determined that for the selected service the requirement is not necessary.

I wonder what does this means because I just finished the online applications. I have not yet mailed the documents to their office. Does that mean I no longer need to followup license verification from our country? Hope you could help me because Im still at lost with the processing of my cvs. thank you

hello i too have the same status as yours i have started the process for NY CVS last may 2011 since i passed the NCLEX-RN board just this February 2011 California State Board.. paid everything in full amount last June 02 2011... but in just 2 months it has been extremely hassle on my end i urgently need my license since it is a requirement for my work here in the Philippines hence, i have been constantly bugging my school and PRC regarding the request after 1 month my school has received CGFNS CVS request and in four days they were able to send it via DHL express but i found out that there are some requests that were sent by CGFNS last January 30 2011 and have not been processed by the school when i asked them how is that possible the guy from our registrar's office said there are 2 possible reasons for the delay 1. The student has not paid the fee yet. (yup all the while i though cgfns will be covering it..) 2. or the request has just arrived (yup it happens he even told me in some cases they wait 5 months before they would be able to receive the request)... anyway, my next problem would be PRC once again i traveled all the way from paranaque to manila just to verify if they have received CGFNS's request..Thank God when i heard that the document arrived last july 27,2011 (its now Aug. 29, 2011 btw) and it was "ready to mail" BUT the thing is CGFN's has not made a payment yet to PRC at first i was like"ok at least its ready to mail all i have to do is wait but i hope it wont take long since i cant start my job not until ive submitted them a copy of my license" then BANG.. when i asked the woman from the records department PRC she said "don't expect to much, CGFNS has not made a payment for 3 batches ahead of u yet, ur request was received last JULY 27, CGFNS has not made a payment for batches that were received last JUNE" :( :( :( what to do what to do???

just shoulder the cost if you want your application to push through... is there any other option?as for my school, they also have another option that I pay the fee for DHL/FEDEX for faster processing because if I will rely on snail mail, I dont know if It will reach the destination on time.. maybe that's the same case for PRC.. just shoulder so as to proceed with your application.

unfortunately i can not shoulder the fee i have suggested that same thing but PRC informed me that its an office-to-office transaction and they have an exclusive courier in which they have an acct. to :(

well, i actually dont know what to do...in my case, all requirements are already met..maybe you should try to contact CGFNS to tell them the situation...anyway only them can answer your problem..hope u can make it..

thank you... just knowing that i share similar issues with the members here has been a great help :) ive tracked down the courier provider DHL and my transcript was delivered last monday august 29, 2011 it was received by a certain******** it hasn't appeared to the systems yet and i haven't gotten any email from CGFNS confirming it.. well i guess its gonna take time before they would send me a confirmation just a bit worried that they might loose it like what happened to some members.. well i guess i just have to think positively... after all it has just been days since they got it... btw do you have your license now?

hehe..u really just need to be patient....i just started the process this month and i think i would have to wait more months...i am just waiting for my transcript validation from my school....btw, are you done with the new york forms?? goodluck..Godbless
