In order to prevent any misleading information being posted it is best to contact the state you intend to apply to and voice out your concerns. Most states have a specific department to deal with inquiries you may have regarding the application process, requirements and anything in between. So, in short, do not assume a state will not consider you as an applicant unless you have heard directly from them stating otherwise.

Also, money is important but it shouldn't prevent you from pursuing your dream. It is an investment for your future regardless how much you end up spending.

Don't lose hope since all this will happen in God's time.

Hello, is there anybody here who got denied ny license of endorsement here in california? My license is from vermont, and I am planning to transfer from RN vermont to LVN california. is that possible? or I have to take the exam? I am planning just to take ADN in Cerritos College because thats what my analyst told me. The ADN offer here is 9weeks max. I still have to talk to the school. I already have my masters in medical-surgical in the phil, have my license in vermont but still got denied because of concurrency. And she told me, just to take ADN since I already finished my Masters.

Any RN from other state to LVN cali here?

    Thanks!

You will need to meet LVN requirements and pass NCLEX PN to get a license. I doubt you can endorse (transfer license)

you cant transfer your records agency to agency..they wont allow that for privancy purposes.
i did tried that before fr BRN TO BVNPT..it didnt work
What? There are others here who was asked to simply submit a letter to transfer their records or some had to pay a $30 transfer fee.

Try calling, e-mailing all of these places:

Board of Registered Nursing - RN Programs

Just know others have tried and either no classes offered, need to enroll in the full program or very limited space of 1-2 spots with 1,000's of other global students also trying to get in. There are only 1-2 application periods a year and you must have passed certain math and or English pre-exams. If you're successful, you're looking at 2 years or more to get it completed.

Kudos goes to our own CHED, PRC and PNA for giving us a great education, hah.

Someone had mentioned months ago that the CHED, PRC and PNA came over to the CA BON to discuss this matter, not sure what became of that meeting or if it was true.

It's been stated by someone here that they have taken notice as the curriculums have been changed or recently changed to meet the concurrency requirements.

I can imagine the tons of complaints from the instructors, deans and the agencies office being bombarded with calls, letters and e-mails.

I think it remains to be really seen if these changes are the ones that will finally comply with the CA BON minimum standards. It would be a couple of years to see that effect.

Although, someone here said that they did get their ATT being a recent grad under the 4 year schooling?

I asked about it on this forum, but never replied back yet. This person stated they "almost got denied the ATT, but it was not a problem" and did get the ATT.
