Bridging Program in Australia

Hi. I am new here. I don't know exactly where to go. I am a registered nurse here in the Philippines and I am interested in studying in Australia for a bridging course that will help me become a registered nurse there. I need some help on looking for a good school that offers a bridging course.

My aunt told me that a friend of her friend just went to AU to take up a test and in 6 months she's there for a bridging program. and I have this friend who has a friend who became a registered nurse in AU in 6 months time too. This agency is offering me to study for a certificate III aged care with occupational English test for 46 weeks in Einstein College but it costs too much. So now, I am trying to look for a school wherein I can apply by myself and hopefully get in. I am hoping I could leave for AU this June 2011. I am a bit lost on what to do. Can you help me, please? Any suggestions? ? Please help me. Thank you very much. :clown:

(Sydney area would be better since my parents are more familiar and in favor of that place... though other cities/areas will be great too)

I already accepted IHNA's offer, but I won't be availing of their accommodation package in order to save some bucks. I have an agency and they will arrange it for me. :)

Hello everyone, please enlighten me. I have a question with regards to visa application form. Question number 2: do you intend to enter Australia on more than one occasion? is the answer NO ok or should it be YES? if yes the reason would be to complete the registration with AHPRA.

I think you should answer YES, and the reason is that you will have to process your registration with AHPRA after the BP. I haven't started processing my visa yet.

Me too, I only need the MRSA clearance but the rest of the vaccines done already. How about you? Have you started the e-learning course? Nice to know my future classmate. ^_^

Hi everyone :) its been a long time since I logged in to this site. This site really helped me a lot, just recently Registered here in AHPRA NSW as Nurse Division 1. Currently, Im on the hunt for a job, meanwhile, to those fellow nurses that would like to ask about "college of nursing", "Ahpra NSW", and "visa 600", well ill do my best to answer those queries. god bless

Yeap JopaiRn. finished with Lonsdale/alpine health.

can you elaborate on your question on "How was it"? which part would you like to ask? Theoretical? Clinical? Accomodation? Just so I can directly answer your concerns.;-)
