Nurse Kelly,
I am wondering how you set up your fee as an independent contractor for massage therapy with hospice (i.e. hourly? per visit? what is your rate? do you request a minimum number of visits per week/month as part of your contract? )Any other information would be appreciated.
Thanks

According to my Massage Therapy instructors Malpractice against LMTs is rare but most places that I work require that I have my own liability insurance through AMTA....but I have separate jobs one as a LMT and one as a Nurse.

Basically when I go to my clients home I have them sign a wavier and the place that I am employed also has a wavier that they have the clients sign. So it covers us.
