Don't go to co-workers' parties where drinking is occurring

I went to a co-workers party, she had a hall, DJ, Karaoke, etc, and lots of booze. I found out that another co-worker turns in to a trailer trash crazy woman when exposed to too much alcohol. It was a bad scene and there is continuing drama occurring.

I normally don't attend parties. I was the soberest person there, I think, although I did loosen up enough to show off my lousy dancing.

So, a word to the wise: Don't go to drinking parties with co-workers!!!

Pictures or it didn't happen.

Ok here's the story, I'm away for work and these two guys were hanging out outside drinking this thing called Jack Daniels off a bottle that looked like a ball. One thing led to another and this guy woke up to a picture on his phone that looked like the representation below (cartoon used to protect the person's identity but it's pretty close). Funny thing was that the guy had no recollection of the events :D

"This thing called Jack Daniels."

*facepalm*

Where were you during this debauchery?

Or are you the dude in the tree?

I won't confirm nor deny the allegations ;)

Seriously?? You can't be in the UK - as nights out with colleagues always deteriorate into massive fun here!

I speak as one the most senior nurses in my hospital, we have FUN! And we love seeing our staff let off steam as long as no one gets hurt or offended. Someone always gets too tipsy and too honest, but what's the harm really?

Sounds like someone needs to loosten up X

Well, I'd jest love to spill the beans - on some of the ah, shenanigans..

the likes of what we young psych nurses got up to, after work, back in the day..

..but I'll have to plead the 5th..

Dang, they was real good times.. but likely, hangin' offenses now though, huh..

As a person who came from am alcoholic background and had struggled in the past with drinking, I invite you to stuff it. Not everyone needs to get wasted to loosen up, not everyone who abstains is a stuffy prude.

It's a shocking concept but fun can be had with minimal drinking.

You guys say "plead the 5th" over there?

I can't drink with colleagues. I'd hate to end my uptight, scary-twisted, dark sense of humor persona. Buzzed makes me giggly, drunk makes me awesome. I have a reputation to maintain.

Just to clarify, my daughter and her boyfriend attended this party which was in a fraternal lodge that the hostess was renting for the party. She and some of her friend chipped in to rent a house within walking distance so no one had too drink/drive. I stayed in my small camper, and I offered daughter and boyfriend to crash there, but the hostess insisted that they crash at the house, they had plenty of room.

Another coworker was verbally abusive to my daughter, then more in the morning, calling her names, then parading naked when she was going to take a shower.

My daughter was upset, the other partiers also get upset at the woman's behavior. The woman was very drunk.

Then that coworker sent a text the next day accusing me of keying her car that was back at her house 55 miles from me. She then accused the hostess as well.

So this was worse than dancing on the table.
