Suny Delhi RN to BSN 1yr online

I was accepted to Suny Delhi and I'll start March, is anyone else in the program or will be starting in March. I work full time and wonder how demanding the program is?

I'm graduating this May and I'm also looking forward to starting the program either Fall 2010 or Spring 2011 (have to pass my boards first). I do have a few questions, I know the classes are six weeks long each session, but is it possible to take two classes each session, work full time, have children (I have three and my husband and I are planning for a fourth)? I want to finish soon but at the same time, I don't want to bite off more than I can chew.

Also in regards to the clinical component, what is required? I will speak to *****sometime next week but was hoping to get a "heads up"' from someone who is already in the program.

I emailed ******** today and she sstated that SUNY Delhi has received accreditation from NLNAC this month (although not yet posted to website as yet). Good to hear that! :)

I am very interested in doing the RN to BSN online, I have it narrowed down to 2 colleges, Thomas Edison NJ, and SUNY Delhi, not sure if anyone has any feedback on either of these. I was also wondering what the clinical piece is and how time consuming at SUNY?

hi ! I am a recent ADN grad also looking at SUNY Delhi for my BSN. I met the school reps at a career fair I recently attended .They gave me a handout w/ course descriptions(prolly can find them online too).Few of them are in bold letters and these require clinical. The lady said I could choose which clinical site I want to attend and if approved by the faculty, the practicums can be done there.If you are a RN already, maybe you can consider your workplace.

However,I am a new grad w/ no RN job as yet.So, I was confused on how I could get someone to agree me to give a clinical ok at their facility.

Hi everyone. I, too am lookng into the SUNY Delhi RN to BSN online program. I have some credits towards my BSN from SUNYIT Utica/Rome. However I was told that that they may not all transfer. I sort of thought that as long as it was within the SUNY system all my credits would transfer. Anyhow, I will wait for confirmation on which ones do transfer if any. The point is I think that this may be my best option to complete my BSN. If anyone else that has been through the program can share their experience, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much. Hi everyone! I know this thread is old. But I was wondering if any of you did the RN-BSN at SUNY delhi? How did it go? Do you recommend it? There's very little info on this school and I would really appreciate any advice or info regarding this school from a student or alumni. Thanks for your help.

Yes. As long as you went to an accredited school. And their tuition is the same for in state and out of state students.

Yes I went CUNY. So I have no problem with it. I was just worry that some states doesn't accept online degrees etc. maybe I am wrong.

i have all statistic, patho, and upper level liberal art classes.. How long it would take to finish program if i take full-time basis ?
