Congrats on getting accepted :) My interview is on the same day. Hope to see you there. How many pages did you get in the mail? I read somewhere 2 but I only got 1 page with date and time. Does this mean I am accepted into the program?

Hi, I only received one page as well. Yes, we are in! The interview seems like a basic meet & greet with a quiz, but we are IN!!

Day program schedule is mon to thurs. one clinical day at the hospital every week from 7:00 to 2:30 and the other three days on campus for lecture for couple hours.. Schedule is good if you don't have other classes. I just have the nursing classes to take.

What a nice schedule we have! I only have nursing classes as well! We should be able to do really well, I hope!

Some sections could be tues to fri also just as an FYI, it kinda depends. This past semester we had Tuesday afternoon lab, wed am class pm lab, thurs am class and fri clinical. Just as a sample.

Did anyone get a letter from the nursing department regarding the joint admission with Farmingdale? You can work on your bachelors while completing your associates degree.

I got that letter also. I'm not sure if I will go to Farmingdale though.. We'll see. I already have most of the credits for the BSN...

Yea me too. Would only have to take nursing classes. Won't hurt to go to the meeting next week and see what it's about. Wouldn't mind working on my bsn while completing the associates as long as its all on one campus. I think the teach the Farmingdale classes on Nassau campus.

Does anyone here has nursing 101 books, notes and syllabus? I want to buy used books and all the material that could help me get thru my first semester at NCC.

Hey, was talking to someone and most of the nursing students keep their books bc they sometimes need it to refer back too or use it as a study tool for the next class. Good luck to u as well!

Thanks. I called a few people that i knew personally, they are now nurses and told me the same thing. I guess I'll buy the new ones :)

Has anyone taken the joint admission to Farmingdale? I am sitting on pins and needles waiting to hear if I got accepted to NCC nursing program and I'm curious how many people are invited to the joint admissions.
