Hi Becca, I have a CNA certificate and I'm trying to get a part-job in a hospital because I think it'll help me a lot during clinicals. However, I will say, it took me a long time to find a job without experience. So if you take the CNA course just be prepared to apply for lots of jobs which might be a drag if the program has already started. I took the CNA program at Queensborough CC and it was a pretty good program. Good luck to you. What section are you in this fall? I'm in B2 Annie

I got 69.5 on the TEAS and a 4.0 GPA but, no word as of yet? I hope my application wasn't lost...

Tali, I'm still waiting too. I haven't received any email, have you? Do you reside in Queens or Nassau? I'm in Queens and wonder if that has any bearing. I can't wait to hear!!!

I didn't get any email... any chance it shows up in your NCC registration account? Maybe under "Student Information?" Or some where else. I wonder if my application was lost!

In one of the information sessions they said the point value was 110. They never elaborated as to how those points added up though. I'm a resident of Queens and I do remember them saying that they will deduct 10 points off my total. I imagine the rest of the points are the TEAS score and then our GPA, possible points for having all the other classes done with the exception of the nursing classes? Has any one received a letter yet?

Has anyone taken the joint admission to Farmingdale? I am sitting on pins and needles waiting to hear if I got accepted to NCC nursing program and I'm curious how many people are invited to the joint admissions.

I heard the letters were printed Monday and today when I asked they said "They're in the mail." There's nothing in my email or on my transcript. Has anyone received a letter yet????
