Im so Sorry, i thought the name of the school was mercy College. Its Monroe College.. Has anyone been there??... Is it a good school.. I wanted to get into the Fall 2008 is it to late?

I just wanted to share my good news!

I am very proud to announce that I received my acceptance letter today!!

The feeling is unbelievable!!

I wanted this sooooo bad!!

I got an 86 composite percentile score on the NLN and an 89 on the TEAS. The science killed me!! My interview was a breeze. I think the worst part of this whole process was waiting for the call for an interview. If you get that far, I don't think you'll have anything to worry about. Just let your personality shine through.

I wish you all the best in your testing and interview process and I hope that we'll meet in September!

update for those on forum who were wondering: i ended up scoring an 88.2% on the teas/99th percentile...so this gives me something to hold on to! (i'm not trying to sound like i am bragging, i just know how badly i wanted information, scores, opinions, and direction, so i am trying to give everyone an idea of what i am able to extend in my knowledge :)

i was very unsure of myself prior to these exams. i haven't been in college for a few years, never taken a physics class, and felt quite "behind". so if i can do it, so can you! :D and remember..those test scores are good anywhere!

I am an LPN ....any one in monroe...can you give advise to me i am lpn wanting to quickly get rn. i am 46 yo and do not have the patience for online programs....i have heard horror stories of one A&P teacher at Monroe .. is this true. I hate to take out more loans when I am still paying off my LPN loans. My LPN program was excellent. I could not bear to put more expence on my self and not pass the course due to horrible teachers....Please advise...anyone taking or have taken this bronx, ny LPN to RN program please enlighten me also has anyone heard or taken the Achieve test prep course in New Jersey ... whats this all about they say you can graduate in less than one year what do you think?

If you repeat chemistry in your old school and then you pass it with a b would you be able to get into the nursing still?

Yes, it costs $21,000. Very STEEP...but in my opinion...worth it.

I just took the PN NLN & supposedly scored in the 96th percentile.

I'm still trying to pinch myself because I feel there must have been

a HUGE mistake...or a miracle! LOL. My composite score was 138.

Tomorrow I take the TEAS (ati). I am TERRIFIED about the science

on that. I have studied FOREVER...but with science..you either know it

or you don't. The chemistry has me somewhat worried...but the physics

has me piddling my panties!

So are there any updates? Have any of you gotten in? If not, did they

tell you how you need to improve, etc? For those of you who got in,

do you mind sharing your scores? I'm crossing my fingers!
