Molloy accelerated BSN 2018 applications

U.S.A. New York

Hi everyone! I recently applied to Molloy for the dual degree BSN program for the spring of 2018. I haven't seen a recent thread, so I was hoping this could be a way for everyone to talk. Has anyone applied and received an admissions decision early? :)

Hi Themotherofdragons

I hope that your application will be selected. Given the GPA you have, it should be fine. Please come back and share your happiness once you receive your acceptance letter.

I will be starting spring as a transfer student - has anyone received their financial aid package yet? Just heard about the transfer scholarship in the acceptance but nothing else. Good Luck to everyone still waiting!

Hi brook, did they offer you a scholarship in the acceptance letter?

I received a transfer Scholarship with the acceptance. Not anything with financial aid.

Question....I am kind of confused based on Molloys Website.....I already have a BS in Biology and I would like to apply to ABSN program. Does Molloy offer that ALONE?? I am very confused based on the website. Which tab is that on the site??

For everyone who is still waiting to hear back my status changed to accepted this morning so go check yours, they probably did as well!!

@jazzytee ... they offer both ABSN and a generic 4-year BSN option.

Hi Hun! Congrats on your acceptance. Can you tell me what your response date was? Best Wishes, Laura

thanks @lau_cam! The date is Nov 27 so I would guess there is going to be another round after that as well :)

Hi all,

My admissions status says "Please contact the Admissions Status",

has anyone who has been accepted had this as their admissions status prior to getting a letter of acceptance?

I applied a bit late (in the beginning of November) I am wondering if they would still be sending out acceptance letters this month.

what is the duration of the accelerated program ? I saw somewhere it said 2.5 yrs. I know most places it is between 12 to 16 mths.

I know for me my program will be 2.5 because I am not coming in with any prerequisites (most programs require you do these before even applying) I'm not sure what the length would be for someone who has them but I would imagine definitely less than 2.5
