Molloy accelerated BSN 2018 applications

U.S.A. New York

Hi everyone! I recently applied to Molloy for the dual degree BSN program for the spring of 2018. I haven't seen a recent thread, so I was hoping this could be a way for everyone to talk. Has anyone applied and received an admissions decision early? :)

I have the same GPA as you! I'm nervous as well, and from past threads it looks like we could be waiting a month or more for results. My friends GPA was a 3.1 which doesn't qualify for the program so she was expecting a decline

@lilmisskris1113 that makes me feel better!! I know in old forums people were accepted with a 3.3 so there is some hope for us!! Just trying not to die from anxiety till then

Actually just got my mail and I passed the math!

Got my acceptance online today!

I just checked and I got my acceptance as well!!!

Congrats to those who got in!! Just wondering when the response date is? I think I didn't make the first cut of acceptances and I'm wondering when they will send out a second round of acceptances. I'm guessing after they get back first round deposits. Thanks everyone!

Thats awesome!! How did you check your acceptance online???

I received my acceptance online via the portal on the 16th but I still didn't get my letter yet so I'm sure it'll be a little bit before second round of acceptances go out. I would stay up to date cause they're probably adding new admits every couple days. You can check you online status by going to lions den.molloy.edu, click the new student retrieval tool and follow the instructions to get ur login info. the login is a set of numbers and they give you a temporary password. Then you can check under the admissions tab and click admission status on the left side bar. good luck everyone! keep us updated on who else gets in!

For those of you are still waiting to hear back, does your lions den portal say "you have been at the applied stage since *date*"?

Yes! mine does as well. I called them and they said that it should update very soon as they are still administering decisions.

thanks @themotherofdragons! I have already called them so many times I didn't want to do it again haha

I just received my letter in the mail yesterday and I was accepted on 10/16... deposit is due Nov 3 but you have to meet with financial aid before you drop it off. They told me just as a warning there's not many options in terms of financial aid since we all have a bachelors in something else already. Get ready to take out some private loans guys lol
