Molloy accelerated BSN 2018 applications

Hi everyone! I recently applied to Molloy for the dual degree BSN program for the spring of 2018. I haven't seen a recent thread, so I was hoping this could be a way for everyone to talk. Has anyone applied and received an admissions decision early? :)

Hi all, I'm hoping to hear some feedback. I am a social worker and have decided to change careers and go to nursing school. I'm enrolled in Chem now and I'm interested in the second degree nursing program for fall 2018. for you all who have applied did you apply with pre reqs or will take them in program? Is the application just online with essay and college transcripts?

Can someone point me in the direction of applying for molloy absn ....What is the name of the tab I click on to apply... I find their website very confusing.

I know for me my program will be 2.5 because I am not coming in with any prerequisites (most programs require you do these before even applying) I'm not sure what the length would be for someone who has them but I would imagine definitely less than 2.5

I recently graduated from the Molloy second degree program and i came in with all prerequisites done and it took me 2.5 years (5 semesters) to complete with the option to have had it done in one less semester if I took summer classes.

I just applied a couple of weeks ago for their dual degree program. I have all my pre-reqs and they're not very good with answering questions over the phone and persisted that I make the application payment in order for them to review at all. They claim they accept a re-take science course but they sent me a rejection letter as soon as I sent in the $40 application fee. My undergrad GPA is 3.4, and my lowest pre-req grade is B+. I received a C- in anatomy in 2012 and am retaking it now but they did not even consider me for the placement exams. Good luck, there are shorter programs which I am looking into. What a waste of my money and time.

@Annabelle... It's annoying, but I guess that's because they don't consider anything lower than a C+ in the prerequisites. I have a similar story when I applied. I submitted my application and all required documents, but forgot to send the application fee. When then deadline to submit passed, I got a letter stating that I need to send the application fee for review. So, the next day, I went to the school (I live about 5min away), and paid the fee. The very next day, I received my rejection letter. I thought it was so odd being that I just submitted the fee.

Hi i got a letter to take the ND test as well. How would you say the test was & it seems like such a short amount of time to complete everything they ask. Do you think it was enough time & how was the math portion part?
