I start my first semester at Cochran School of Nursing in January, any current students have any advice for me? Is anyone else starting spring 2015 as well?

Study hard... I'm in my final semester. Graduating December... Rough program, 80 is passing grade... I did well, went straight thru in two years... Enjoy it, have a well balanced life.. I did!!

Hello,

did you have to complete all prerequisites before applying to the school? On the online application it says you can have no more than one prerequisite missing. However, I was told today that you need to have taken anatomy and physiology 1 and 2 as well as microbiology before applying - is this correct?

Yes that is correct, you have to have all prerequisites completed, by the time they start processing no more than one can be outstanding. They are very strict on that. As long as all your ducks are in order it's not that difficult to get in.

I was told that they did not have an evening program. :specs: Is this a traditional four year BSN?

Can anyone who got in share their gpa and prereq grades?

my gpa is 3.8, they look for all completed pre reqs good GPA and passing grade on the entrance exam.
