  1. I feel your "pain" as I'm in the same boat. What I've been doing with my planner is color coding entries so I can stay on top of what is due and for what class. Being in front of the readings also should help. That way, any questions on the content can be cleared up during class. Print out power points (if possible) before class. Lastly, don't expect to have everything mapped out the first few weeks, expect some errors and good luck!
  2. Just a few more days until class begins. I'm super anxious but I'm oh so ready. Has everyone caught up on the reading? Geez it was so much! Don't forget the ihi assignment and the extra reading (3 chapters?) before lecture.
  3. I have the Classic III but I haven't started classes yet. However, I have been practicing on different people all hours of the day (lol) and I love it. My only issue is the amplified sound of the tubing rubbing against clothing. Over time, I'm sure I'll either be use to it or hold the scope properly thus eliminating the drag altogether.
  4. I don't think jealousy is the determining factor here. More like selfishness on their part. Instead of them congratulating you, they're concerned with what's going to happen to them after you're gone. Whatever you do, don't let them guilt you into staying any longer than your notice. Had the company been laying off, they would've given two craps about it being Christmas. Good luck!
  5. Congratulations! Good luck on the NCLEX.
  6. That's great news! Happy Christmas indeed.
  7. Def student loans. But if your heart is truly in NP school than go for it!
  8. So, I feel like I got about 37 vaccinations. My arms are sooo sore! And I now have a splitting headache (symptom of one of the vaccines), have two finals to take today and am busy at work. On the bright side, no pertussis for me. lol [emoji40] Is anyone arriving early for the parking chip? Still bummed that it isn't universal. I dread looking for parking so early in the morning.
  9. I was told they were switching over to the Kaplan.
  10. Hey @Cangilbar.[emoji112]🏽 There's nothing worse than a tall girl in high waters. Haha Also, Professor P said to bring a small memo pad to clinical (small meaning the size of an iPhone) to take notes. C'ya at 8. Grrrr that's so early.[emoji17]
  11. That last part is exactly what I said to my friends and family. Haha I was thinking of using my laptop to record, but I don't know if it can record that long. (4+3 hour lectures). Aargh. Guess I'll be borrowing a mini recorder, if we even have them here.
  12. They accept 22 in the evening program (I don't know the number for the day).
