  1. I am so sorry that you are going through this. You can't give up. I would write an appeal letter and try to fight it. Hope for the best and prepare for the worst. If they say, rules are rules. Then you have to apply for another program. If you feel you don't have time to be waitlisted for a BSN program, then do ADN and then RN-BSN online as soon as your finished. For testing anxiety. This is very scary and I had issues with this as well. For some of my last exams in nursing school. I did yoga in the mornings and said my prayers. I ask him to touch my spirit, and stimulate my brain to choose the right answers. I also literally take loud audible deep breaths while in the testing room if I feel my chest tightening. You have to trust yourself, study the material in and out and clear your head as best as you can. Exams will get way harder no matter which program you are in, so you have to deal with the anxiety first! It is sickening, I know but you have to tell yourself it's not an option to fail. Also, don't read the book. Only study the slides and use the book for areas you have trouble with or self study material. It will only go into too much detail and waste your time. I hope this helps. May God bless you and help you get through this !!
  2. I can't believe I am saying this but I am finally finished with nursing school !! After 5 long years, clinicals, papers, and life in general. I am proud to say that I have earned my BSN:laugh:. I am 22 years old and I feel like I have my whole life ahead of me! I am proud of the fact that I went so early and have had to sacrifice so much for this degree. This degree belongs to God, not me! I literally CRIED. LIKE BALLING TEARS walking out of the exam room for my last exam in Critical Care. I was so happy it was over. It has been so hard and I have almost failed so many times. This is one of the biggest accomplishments in my life. I had to make a new account, but allnurses really helped me through nursing school so thank you ! I guess the next step is just working more (finally!) and NCLEX! I pretty much have a job lined up on an observation unit with pretty stable patients, so I think this is a good place for me to start as a new grad. I also plan on going back for MSN in Fall2016 for NP. That's another story. In closing, to all current pre nursing and nursing students I want to say that the light at the end of the tunnel is possible and DO NOT GIVE UP. You will be so proud of yourself. Trust me. God Bless
