Hi everyone,

I'm applying to Mountainside for Fall 2010. How is the program going so far? I'd love to hear what you all have to say!

well just had orientation on wed and first class today .. im in the day program and so far so good.. really havent had enough time in to judge it ... however i did take their summer BNA course and i can tell you that you get ALOT of hands on experience. ive SEEN so much and DID so much that i feel like i have an advantage coming straight in .. just from that course i already know all the basic and fundamental stuff so im going to focus on all the info that i havent learned yet ... if my clinicals are going to be in the least bit like the ones in the summer, then id say this is going to be one hell of a good program !

come join our family =)

I have to agree with Ms. Asia! Orientation was actually on Tuesday..and then the day and evening programs split. I'm in the evening program so we had class on Wednesday and clinical on Thursday. Fridays are our free days. So far, it's a LOT of information and things we have to do..exams...quizzes..presentations..readings..VERY time consuming but definitely doable if you're focused. I agree..the nursing assistant course we took over the summer was awesome! I love the history of the school and I've heard so many great things from current and past students. Definitely apply..it will be great!

If you want, here's my blog where I'm journeying through school. It will give you a glimpse into our world to prepare you for next year! :)

I am looking to apply for next year can anyone tell me what there ACT/SAT Scores and GPA Were so i know where i stand and have an idea if im going to get in, thanks guys!

MHSoN doesn't really care about your gpa (and act/sat aren't even checked out). They are much more interested in you as a person and your potential to be an rn.

Also, to the new students, if you thought the bna course was hand's on, you're going to love clinicals. Have fun
