I applied to Mountainside Hospital School of Nursing..took the NET and received great scores:yeah: and now, waiting to set-up interview with school.
Anywone else applying and waiting to hear back? Anyone already go through their interview? I'm interested in waiting with other applicants!
This is my top choice and I'm ready to be accepted!! :D
well just had orientation on wed and first class today .. im in the day program and so far so good.. really havent had enough time in to judge it ... however i did take their summer BNA course and i can tell you that you get ALOT of hands on experience. ive SEEN so much and DID so much that i feel like i have an advantage coming straight in .. just from that course i already know all the basic and fundamental stuff so im going to focus on all the info that i havent learned yet ... if my clinicals are going to be in the least bit like the ones in the summer, then id say this is going to be one hell of a good program !
come join our family =)
I have to agree with Ms. Asia! Orientation was actually on Tuesday..and then the day and evening programs split. I'm in the evening program so we had class on Wednesday and clinical on Thursday. Fridays are our free days. So far, it's a LOT of information and things we have to do..exams...quizzes..presentations..readings..VERY time consuming but definitely doable if you're focused. I agree..the nursing assistant course we took over the summer was awesome! I love the history of the school and I've heard so many great things from current and past students. Definitely apply..it will be great!
If you want, here's my blog where I'm journeying through school. It will give you a glimpse into our world to prepare you for next year! :)
