Types of SATA on NCLEX?

Hey guys and gals, I am scheduled to take my NCLEX in about a week and a half and I have been studying everyday for a few hours. I kind of know my weakness and I know my biggest weakness is SATA questions. I can usually get most of the answer choices correct but I always miss one or add an extra one. It just seems like I can't get them, I hear stories about NCLEX having a lot of SATA questions and I need help on them, any advice I would appreciate it.

Break each potential answer into a discrete yes or no question. I personally liked sata questions in school. Always seemed to be on really basic subject material.

I heard I passed the NCLEX yesterday in 75 questions! Never would have expected that because I struggled with Kaplan's SATA questions. I often would miss one of the choices or be way off. But when I got to the actual NCLEX, I had about 25-30 SATA. I promise you, if you keep doing them and don't get discouraged, you will be fine! Remember that there is ALWAYS at least 2 that are correct, and rarely all of them are correct. Read through each option and think, "is this true?"

I am in the same boat as you. I would either miss one or not get the other but majority I would get right. I'll try to answer them by a simple yes and no. Do you happen to know a good place that offers a lot of SATA questions?

Kaplan's QBank was probably the most helpful for SATA. It also has a sample test that is entirely alternative questions. The NCLEX mastery app also has tons, as well as nurselabs.com!

I definitely agree that the approach to each potential answer is always "True or False"!

Each option given should be decided as T/F; you will then know what to include and what to exclude :)
