I just finished taking NCLEX and feel like a failure...I feel like I got easy questions like medication administration, I Know I got them wrong because I blanked out!!! ...I only got 75 questions...I cried on the way home..I got some SATA and a bunch of infection control and some patient teaching...Any advice would be helpful...thanks...Did anyone get easy questions and pass?

clara

we are all feeling the same way and just have to wait to find out. I go back and forth and have been crying too. I got 77 questions and finished rather quickly and that somehow does not make me feel all that great. Just know it's almost over!!!!

I have no advice but I just took my NCLEX as well with 75 questions. I was praying the test would keep going as I felt there is no way I am passing this test. All of the questions seemed easy and I still wasn't sure about the answers. Praying we both find out soon that we passed good luck

To me they were basic level nursing questions and I couldnt remember the answers...I feel so bad and cant stop crying!!!:(

Claralon,

Tell yourself you did well and that's why you thought the questions were easy. Several of us felt like the questions were not as bad as we thought they were going to be and we passed. Don't put too much thought into how many SATA questions you got, they are just a form of question. I didn't get many either and I passed at 75. I felt I had a variety of questions, including infection control, meds, teaching and priority. Everyone's test is different, you can pass with your mix, just like others do with their mix. I know it is hard, I have been there, but try to relax and not drive yourself crazy. Give that little one a big hug and kiss and go play.

I jus took NCLEX RN today too. It stopped at 75! i know i didnt do well at all with all the SATA, all the priority questions that I had to choose between infection or pain? A Kawasakis question! and the same pharm questions over and over, Imdur and Cialis!! I know I wasnt doing well when i kept getting the same meds. Now I have to wait another 90days to retake it!

im trying to keep my head up but I know the computer shut off because I didnt know it!

Kristinetdb, remember, some of the questions don't count, some of the questions you think are repeats could be the test questions. The questions you get are the luck of the draw, they don't ask you a repeat because you got a previous one wrong. Don''t worry about the next 90 days until you get your results, think positive!!! Remember we have all been there, the second guessing yourself will kill you!!

I wish I would have gotten something remotely familiar. My entire test yesterday morning was laden with would be this and that's. I couldnt believe that amount of obscure medications I recieved and yes I'm to begin orientation as an RN at my job and I'm ready to call it off. Ive cried, I'd moped, and I'm still moping. Just pop in some Jimmy Buffett grab yourself a Margarita, write the word NCLEX on a piece of paper in red ink and set it on fire in your bathroom. Instant gratification.

Oh yeah, and mines cut off at 75. I imagined they figured out I was floudering with their questions, and pulled my plug...where's my Jimmy...

you can do it clara... believe

WOW. ME AND YOU MUST OF HAD THE IDENTICAL TEST. I had the SAME three questions. Does scoliosis and nephrotic syndrome and an alzheimers man pushing a chair sound familiar to you?

Hello guys! (Clara,...)

No matter what is the outcome of the test, you should be proud of yourself knowing that you gave your best effort. So many people left the testing center feeling like "Failures" to find out days later that they passed. Good luck to all of you guys, I am crossing my fingers for you.

PS: Curiously I don't now if you remember in one thread I posted sth about Kawasaki disease... ;)

Wish you good luck to all of ya! Keep your heads up... No one should feel like a failure...

Taking mine on July 17... Level of anxiety starting to go up!!!
