I took the NCLEX today at 3:00p. Finished at 4:20 whe the computer shut off at 85 questions. I took my time, and had 23 SATA. I tried PVT at least 6 times since I left testing center and keep getting the "good pop up". Is it possible that it may change and I did it too soon? I will be paying for quick results in 48 hrs.

Hope you passed! i took my board this morning I did the trick afterward made me go thru my credit card. I did it again more than one time and it's giving me the pop op!!!

Hopefully we both passed!!!!

Congrats on passing NCLEX!! What resources did you use to study and what was useful for NCLEX? What was your take on NCLEX - level of difficulty or pain scale? ;) Thanks for any tips and advice.

I'm still not sure what to think about it. There were some really tough questions on there on various diseases and pharmacology that I never heard of. I can't imagine I could have done anything different to prepare for those questions. I used a Kaplan book that I borrowed from the library mainly for the decision tree and followed their advice on breaking down each question, etc.

Our program utilized ATI for each class. We also did a NCLEX preparation class in our last semester where we did various NCLEX style tests/quizzes weekly that our instructors got from different NCLEX review books and Mosby's comprehensive review book. We took about 3000 questions in our last semester, plus the ATI comprehensive predictor. I graduated at the end of July and took first available test date. Then I mainly studied every day using exam cram book and cd of questions.

Good luck on taking your test and I hope this helps. If you have any other questions, let me know.

I passed mine last Wednesday I was in the test area for 1 1/2 hours turned off at 85 I was sure I did horrible on it! I didn't even want to do the trick but I got the good pop up & found out Friday I passed! My advice to you is don't focus on the information there is to much! Do practice questions again & again if you have ATI then look at your weak points & brush up on that & learn to answer the choose all that apply I had a ton of them! The day of the exam eat a good breakfast go to the bathroom before you go in & take a deep breath & clear your mind before you start & don't over think the questions answer whatever your first thought is that's what I did! Also about the weak area's I feel the computer found mine right away & asked me tons of those questions that's why I say practice those areas. GOOD LUCK!
